We are so thankful that we are back and damage was minimal in our area. Congratulations to our 4 top sellers for the cookie dough fundraiser! Thank you to all parents and families for your support with our cookie dough fundraiser. Once we get our delivery date we will post and let you know so you can make your plans to get your orders. If you drop off your child in the mornings, please see the imporatnt note below. We need your help! We have extended the book fair until Thursday to be sure that all students get the chance to shop. You may add money on their ewallet until Wednesday to be sure they have time to shop. Interim reports went home on Friday so be sure to ask your student to see theirs. MONDAY is the last day for 1st and 3rd parents to register and pay for the Thanksgiving lunch. See flyer below for details. We are excited about a tutoring opportunity that we will be offering to students starting with 3rd graders. Stay tuned for more details! On Thursday night, Andy's will be hosting a spirit night for us and a portion of sales will benefit our school. Plan to go get a sweet treat and help us earn money to get the STEAM bus for Math and Science night in the spring. Be sure to tell them you're there for South Fork. Sweatshirt and hoodie orders begin today. Orders will close on Monday, September 30th so ALL orders must be in by that date. Once we send in the orders, it takes about 2 weeks for them to be delivered. They are navy with South Fork Broncos in white, blue and gray. See the flyer above for all the details. Parents, in the mornings, we have carswaiting in line starting at 6:30. This is causing big issues because the line can't move until 7:30 when we start unloading. We can't have cars in line backing up when we aren't even starting to unload. This is the cause of the line backing up to the road. If you get in line when the cars are moving it's safer for everyone. You will not be allowed to get in line until 7:00 so please help us. Another way car rider parents can help is to move up and don't leave the 2 driveways open. The signs say yield to buses but I'm going to get them changed to say-STOP if you see a bus that needs to get out. Pull up and only STOP when you see a bus. This helps to keep the car line off the road. Thank you for your cooperation to keep everyone safe.

Parents, we are seeing students lose their cafeteria money and this causes problems. PLEASE use the online payment to put money in your child's account. This is much easier!

All LPPS students receive free breakfast and lunch. For students eating lunch in the cafeteria, there are extra items for purchase. Ice cream is sold on Fridays. (Not Pre-K) Parents are encouraged to add money to your child's account for these extra items. If your child uses cash, please know that change is not given and the money goes into their account. However, online is preferred for elementary students as they often lose cash. Click the link below to set up your student's account and add money to it. Cash can ONLY be used for extra cafeteria sales but online is highly preferred.

Parents, please be aware that this is in place if conditions warrant a late start.

LPPS Schools Emergency Winter Weather Late Arrival Plan

In the event that the area is experiencing wintery weather and driving early in the morning on such days would present a safety hazard, LPPS Schools created the following plan for starting school later in the day. Depending on the severity of the weather, schools could be delayed 2 or 3 hours. Please see below to know what that would look like for your child.

Two Hour Late Arrival Plan
1. All student start times will be moved (2) two hours later.
2. All bus pickup and carpool start times will be moved (2) two hours later.
3. (Example; 6:30 moves to 8:30)
4. All employee work arrival times will be moved (2) two hours later.
5. Breakfast will not be served.
6. Lunch schedule will remain the same.
7. Dismissal schedule will remain the same.

Three Hour Late Arrival Plan
1. All student start times will be moved (3) three hours later.
2. All bus pickup and carpool start times will be moved (3) three hours later.
