When?

What makes these Saturdays so special?
We bring together representatives from Outreach, Admissions, Financial Aid, General Counseling, and San Diego Promise to provide hands-on support in one convenient location. New Incoming students will get assistance with:
- College Application
- SD Promise Application
- Financial Aid Application (FAFSA & Dream Act)
- And the opportunity to meet with a counselor for first-semester course planning! (Note: Must have 10-digit college ID & have completed the college orientation prior to the event)

City of San Diego Engineering & Capital Projects/ACEC Scholarship
High School Senior, Attending High School in San Diego, GPA of 3.0 or higher, Desire a career in engineering or land surveying, extracurricular activities, overcome adversity or challenges.
Deadline: March 23, 2025
Gregg Garon Scholarship
High School Senior, male or female, playing soccer for a high school or club in northern San Diego County, a high school GPA of 2.5 or greater
and plans to continue post-high school education or training.
Deadline: March 29, 2025
San Diego Area Panhellenic
Must be female high school graduating senior,
attending a San Diego County high school,
planning to attend any of the more than 3000
four-year colleges which host National
Panhellenic Conference member sororities.

2025 San Diego County Deputy Sheriffs’ Foundation Scholarship Program, Line of Duty Scholarships
Children of Active and Retired Deputy Sheriffs Association members, High School Senior, Planning to attend an accredited 2 or 4 year college/university, GPA of 3.0 or higher. Considered in selection: Academic achievement, citizenship, leadership, athletic achievement, & community service. $2,000
Deadline: April 7, 2025
Resource Conservation District Scholarship
High School Senior, pursuing further education in the fields of resource conservation, environmental sciences, biology or agriculture,The scholarship is available to students residing in the RCD of Greater San Diego County boundaries, GPA of 2.5 or higher. Up to seven scholarships of $1,000 are awarded each year.
Deadline: April 14, 2025
San Diego County Citizens’ Foundation
High School Senior, Must reside in San Diego County the last 12 months, must be first time college student, plan to attend a college/university in the San Diego County area for Fall of 2024, as a full-time student with 12 units or more, must have completed an application for FAFSA or Dream Act, Applicants must demonstrate financial need

Course Selection 2025-2026
Course Request Visits to the Sun Center
Students will meet individually with their counselor to discuss course selection for next year. Meetings will take place during their English class, see schedule to the left. Please be prepared to enter your 15 classes with your counselor.
Deadline to enter courses is Friday, March 28.
