MacArthur Library

Our high school library offers a range of services to support student learning, including access to a variety of resources like books, e-books, audiobooks, and databases. Students can receive research assistance, use technology for academic projects, and find quiet study spaces or areas for group collaboration. The library also partners with teachers to enhance classroom instruction and promotes literacy through various reading programs.

The Mac library celebrated ALA's (American Library Association) "Teentober." Teentober promotes literacy through library services. It also highlights teens and their innovative creation and achievements. Here are a few pictures from our festive month of Teentober!

The library hosted our first lunch and learn! Ms. Cassie Romo led this professional development. She gave us strategies on how to beat the burnout and keep our fire lit!

This month, the library will be promoting non-fiction books, celebrating Native American Heritage Month, and honoring our dear Veterans.

Regular Hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

The library is open before and after school and during most lunches.

You must have a pass from the librarian or one of your morning teachers in order to spend lunch in the library. You can't eat your lunch in the library! You may come in the library after you finish eating.

• Be respectful to your peers and teachers
• Be respectful to all library materials - books, technology, makerspaces etc.
• No food or drinks allowed in the library
• Water is allowed but must be in bottles with lids
• Sign in/out at the laptops
• Push in your chairs
• Leave the library tidy
