Family Newsletter - October 25th

Hello Mackeben Families,

Halloween Reminders:

Classrooms will be hosting Halloween parties on Thursday, October 31st. Your child's classroom teacher will have specific information about the day.

Costume Guidelines:

Costumes should be worn over clothes so that students can pull them on/off independently.
Costumes should be appropriate, should not be violent in nature and should not include weapons, (fake or plastic), or masks that cover the entire face.
Hair dye, make-up, and minimal face paint must be applied at home (i.e. whiskers and a nose).

Shining Bright - Staff Star of the Week!!!!

Mrs. Megan Roggenbuck

Mrs. Roggenbuck is one of our dynamic Kindergarten teachers. She has a caring heart and will go above and beyond to support the students in her class. She is always willing to incorporate new strategies, pilot new curriculum and welcomes opportunities to collaborate with support services staff to benefit the needs of all of her students.

Mrs. Roggenbuck is a leader in the district, being on several committees and contributing her expertise to initiatives throughout the district.

Mrs. Roggenbuck is also an active mom of three daughters, a senior, 7th grader and 5th grader. You'll find her cheering on her daughters at Poms competitions and participating in Girl Scout activities.

Mackeben Elementary is so very lucky in having Mrs. Roggenbuck as a teacher, leader and role model.

Art to Remember

Art Fundraiser!!

Hi families and friends, Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child’s art. Order forms were sent home earlier this week with information on how to order. There are over 50 products and many are less than $20. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school to help support the art room.
