FAA Parent Newsletter
Week of October 14th
Message from Mrs. Mielinski
We have successfully completed our first nine weeks of school and it is safe to say we are totally in our groove at FAA. The teachers and I have been meeting with parents this past week to update progress so far this year and it is exciting to see the academic growth that students are already making.
We are also busy planning all of the fun that is to come in this season. We hope that you will join in on that fun by joining us for our Trunk or Treating event on Tuesday, October 29th from 5:30-6:30 pm.
Finally, we had a succesful first week in our October attendance challenge. Five homerooms (Harris, Ingram, Pearre, Moore, and Rollins) all had 100% attendance for the whole week. Way to go students and teachers! Our winners enjoyed some delicious, fresh popped popcorn on Wednesday afternoon. We will continue our challenge for the whole month of October.
Now, let's kick off the second nine weeks on Tuesday and make it a great week!
