How does it work?
There are two main types of exfoliation: physical + chemical. Physical exfoliants rely on particles or beads to slough away dead skin cells with light, physical force, while chemical exfoliants rely on acids to dissolve dead skin cells and clear pores.
This mask has BOTH types!
+The bamboo particles act as a gentle physical exfoliator from the stems of bamboo.
+Glycolic acid, the smallest AHA molecule, absorbs easily into skin, effectively removing dead skin, leaving a brighter complexion while Phytic acid helps exfoliate buildup on skin to reduce dry, flaky skin, leaving a more even complexion.
+It's also formulated with saccharide isomerate - an ultra-hydrating sugar-based moisturizer that combats dryness while soothing skin.
