NEW: Holliston Coalition Against Hate & Bias Community Forum
Join Us as a Holliston Community
Come together, with both the Town and School communities, to explore the national,
state, and regional data on hate and bias, which sets the foundation for the work of the
Holliston Coalition Against Hate and Bias. This session will highlight current efforts
underway in Holliston and preview the important work still ahead. We invite you to
collaborate with us as “we stand for love, respect, and dignity for all.”
We will meet at Holliston High School on June 17, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Light
refreshments will be served. Please register at the Event Brite Link or by scanning the
QR Code in the event Flier. We look forward to seeing you there.
NEW: Summer Reading
Dear Students, Parents, Guardians, and Caretakers:
At Robert Adams Middle School, we understand the importance of both academic and recreational reading. As studies have proven, when students read for pleasure, they benefit in all subjects, not just English. Recreational reading improves vocabulary, spelling, reading fluency, and background knowledge. Additionally, our hope is to build a community of readers, where all students can see themselves reflected in the characters, discuss inspirational experiences of respective protagonists, find excitement and connection in shared readings, and support one another in their reading.
To encourage summer reading, as well as prepare students for start-of-the-year activities and community-building experiences, the summer reading requirements are as follows:
REQUIRED: ALL STUDENTS 6-8 must read at least two books of their choice before returning to school in September.
8th GRADERS ONLY: choose one fiction book and one nonfiction book.
ALL STUDENTS 6-8 must turn in the Summer Reading Form to their English teachers.
OPTIONAL: ALL STUDENTS 6-8 have the option to complete the extra credit activities and submit their work to their English teachers.
For more information, please click the link below to our summer reading website!
Happy Reading!

IMPORTANT: Medication Pick-Up
The end of the year is quickly approaching. If you have medication stored in the Health Office for your student, please make sure to pick-up the medication by Monday, June 23rd BY NOON (if possible and safe to do so, please consider picking up all medication prior to this date). Medications that are not picked up by this date will be disposed of properly per Massachusetts regulations.
If your student will be participating in Extended Summer Year (ESY) and has medication in the Health Office, you do not need to pick up the medication between the end of the academic year and the start of ESY - please make sure to communicate your student’s enrollment in ESY with your student’s school nurse. Please make sure to pick up your student’s medication at the conclusion of the ESY program. Any medication that is not picked up by the end of ESY will be disposed of properly per Massachusetts regulations.
Please contact Amy Piselli or Lauren Farqui if you have any questions.
IMPORTANT: Medication Drop-off August 2025
Medications: All medication orders and parent/guardian consent to administer the medication need to be renewed at the beginning of the academic year and/or as necessary during the academic year. Instructions on how to drop off medication for your student and/or addition forms can be found on our website: Holliston Public Schools Health Office. The school nurse must provide written consent for your student to self-carry medication at school. Please reach out to your student’s school nurse if you have any questions.
All medication that is to be stored in the Health Office must be delivered by a parent or guardian to a school nurse. Health Office nurses will be at each school on the following dates for medication drop off prior to the first day of school for the 2025-2026 academic year:
RAMS Health Office: Monday, August 18th; Tuesday, August 19th; and Wednesday, August 20th (8:30 am - 2:30 pm each day).
Thank you and have a great summer!

Please Look for Unreturned Library Books!
As we near the end of the school year, we’re asking for your help! Please take a moment to check at home for any school library books that may still be hiding on shelves, under beds, or in backpacks. Returning books now helps us get ready for next year and ensures all students have access to our full collection.
Thank you for supporting our readers and our library!

8th Grade Celebration June 18th
Hello 8th grade families,
It is hard to believe the end of the school year is less than a month away! The PTO is throwing a party to celebrate the end of Middle School on Wednesday, June 18, from 6 pm to 8 pm on the field behind the school (commonly called the "Laps at Lunch" field). There's no school on June 19th, so plenty of time to sleep in the next day!
We need two things from you:
We need adult volunteers! If you’re available, please sign up by June 8 to help supervise and run the party on this sign up sheet
Purchase tickets online at https://givebutter.com/RAMS8thGradeParty or have your 8th grader bring cash to buy them during lunch from Wednesday, 6/11, through Tuesday, 6/17.
Tickets are $20 each and include hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream truck, Candy Bar, Class of 2029 swag, photo booth, and field games. We want everyone to come, so if the ticket cost represents a barrier to your child's attendance please reach out to or any member of the administrative team for financial aid. Any profit from the event will go to the Class of 2029 to be used for their high school class activities.
Thanks!
