Message from the Principal

Hello Spartan Parents, Guardians, and Caregivers,


That is a wrap on the 2024-2025 school year! I hope everyone has a fun and relaxing summer. Everyone at LHS is thankful to work with such great families to support all of our Spartans. We will have one more newsletter next week with summer happenings and important dates to kick off the 2025-2026 school year.

Chromebook Turn In

If your 9th or 10th grader did not turn in their Chromebook before leaving for the summer, we will collect them in the main office through June 14. After the 14th we will add charges to your student’s Skyward account - $60 for the Chromebook and $25 for the charger.

Sports Scholarships

The Lakeview Schools Education Foundation has scholarships available for sports camps this summer! Many of these scholarships go unused every year. If you are interested in applying for scholarships to attend sports camps, please follow this link to apply!

The Share Center: Open every day 8am-6pm. 120 Grove St. Battle Creek, MI


The Haven of Rest Ministries: Open 24/7, 365. 11 Green St. Battle Creek, MI (269) 965-1148: warming shelters open during any time the temperature is below 20 degrees. This includes overnight, and in both shelters.

Student Expectations During Athletic Events

Doors will open half an hour prior to athletic events.

  • No backpacks allowed
  • Middle School students must be accompanied by a parent
  • During the game, students must be in the stands
  • After games, students will have 15 minutes to clear the facilities.
  • Students are expected to be respectful and follow the rules and directions from adults who are supervising events.
