I hope that summer has been wonderful for everyone!!! I was able to do some traveling and spent time with my son and daughter who are both home from college. I enjoy summer's slower pace, but I am getting excited for our new school year!!

Welcome to our new families and hello again to our returning families! We are so happy to have you! This Summer edition contains a reminder about registration, supply kits, and important dates and events that are coming up in August. My first 24-25 Sunday Evening Newsletter will be sent on Sunday, August 11th at 5:00pm. That newsletter will contain more specific information about the beginning of the year. If there is anything you need or any questions you have, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thank you to everyone who has registered! If you haven't registered, you will be receiving a phone call from us. Please make sure to register ASAP. Registration is what determines both the number of teachers as well as the number classes. In addition, if you haven't registered by August 1st, you will no longer receive school communications and your student(s) will not be given a teacher assignment. For those of you who purchased a School Supply Kit, they will be delivered to your child's classroom before Meet and Greet. If you need to purchase supplies. Please see the attachment below for our grade level supply lists. These lists are posted on our website.

• August 12th - Teacher Assignments posted in ParentVUE beginning at 4:00pm.
• August 14th - View and Chew (12:30-2:15pm) - see below for more information
• August 19th - Teacher Meet and Greet (9:00-10:00am)
• August 22nd - First Day of Classes for Kindergarten - 12th
• September 4th - Peterson Parent Pathways (More information will be shared in August!)

We invite all of our Kindergarten and new families to our View and Chew event on Wednesday, August 14th from 12:30-2:15 pm! This will be a time for families and their students to learn a little bit about Peterson, drop off supplies, and enjoy a meal with one another. We ask that students bring a small sack lunch that they can enjoy it in our Multipurpose room. Once they finish their lunch, families and students will have an opportunity to walk around the building. We hope to see you there!
