From Wednesday, 12/4, to Friday, 12/6, students can proof their photo and the spelling of their name for the yearbook during all lunches at both buildings. Students should stop by to see the Yearbook Staff during their assigned lunch to proof these two items. After this opportunity, we cannot accommodate requests for changes due to printing deadlines.

Additionally, yearbooks are currently on sale through PowerSchool Fees, and senior recognition pages are available for purchase until January 31, 2025, through Jostens Ad Services. We will administer the ASVAB test Tuesday, January 14th. If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior & would like to take the ASVAB, please see Mrs. Parris in the Guidance area on the main campus to sign up. The deadline to sign up is December 12th.

Yearbooks are available for pre-purchase through PowerSchool under Fees. Books are $85 and include personalization of the student's names on the outside cover. Book prices will increase throughout the year, ultimately reaching the cost to produce, $100, so take advantage of the discount by pre-purchasing early. Please note that only the books purchased before February 1st will receive personalization.

Payment plans and various ad sizes are available for all budgets. Ad sales will end on January 31, 2025. Please note: Jostens handles all recognition ad sales. Do you need your transcript sent to a college or want to see your GPA? Please be sure to sign up for your Parchment Learner account by scanning the QR code below. Parchment is a FREE service that BSHS is using to send current student’s transcripts electronically.

Senior Parents,

All seniors should enter their post-graduate email address in PowerSchool. Seniors can complete this through their PowerSchool portal's "Forms" link.

To do this, seniors should:

1. Log in to PowerSchool.
2. Click on the Forms tab.
3. Select Post Graduate Email.
4. Enter their post-graduate email address (NOT their school or district email, as they will lose access after graduation).
5. Submit the form.

This information will be uploaded into Parchment, allowing seniors to continue using the platform after graduation.

Do you have an interest in the Automotive, Mechatronics, IT, or Logistics field? If so, please see Mr. Butler or Mrs. Teal in the guidance area to sign up to attend the BMW Technical Training Center to learn more about the Classic Scholars Program.

In an effort to smooth out processes and procedures regarding Early Dismissal, I wanted to send out a reminder regarding the Early Dismissal Procedures. Should your student need to be dismissed early from school for any reason, the following procedure is to be followed:

1. Parent/Guardian submits Early Dismissal note to Ms. Collins first thing in the morning via a handwritten note, website submission via “Submit Student Absence Note” , or email (jeri.collins@spart2.org).
2. During 1st Block, Ms. Collins will verify notes and requests and make student passes.
3. Between 1st and 2nd block, students will pick up their Early Dismissal pass from the attendance office.
4. When it is time for your student to leave, they simply show their pass to their teacher and the back gate guard (if they’re driving), and sign out with attendance.

As you look at any future needs for early dismissals, please consider the following testing dates that may impede your current appointments as we are not able to release students during testing. Testing dates are as follows:

12/9- EOC Testing

12/18- Final Exams

12/19- Final Exams

This procedure streamlines logistics for everyone, and ensures our students stay on time for their appointments, etc. We appreciate your help and continued support.

There will be a mandatory meeting for any students interested in trying out for boys and girls track this upcoming season on Thursday 12/5 @ 3:30 in Coach Adams Room - LC-6 in the legacy building. Please be on time!
