I hope everyone enjoyed this beautiful weekend. Tomorrow, we will be having our first lockdown drill. Along with fire, earthquake and tornado drills, this is another procedure we practice in case of emergency.

Gifted and Talented News
How can students be referred for gifted screening?
A teacher or a parent may refer a child for gifted screening. If your child exhibits gifted behaviors and is performing above level, you or your child’s teachers may refer your child as a good candidate. The fall testing window opens October 1st and closes November 1st.
Go to Goochland County Schools Gifted Page. Here you will find the Gifted Referral Process and the Initial Referral Form. This form is due to Randolph Elementary by 3pm on November 1st. Please contact egemmill@glnd.k12.va.us with questions.
Destination Imagination permission slips are due to the GRT at your child’s school no later than Monday, September 30th. Learn more by checking out the attachments.
