Happy November!
Hello families!
We’ve been extremely busy this month! Recently, we were lucky enough to have a talk from the NE Kingdom Waste Management. Our students participated in a recycling workshop and each was given a free composting book (thanks to local donors and Deb at the library). After the presentation, teachers and students explored the topic more and discussed how our students could commit to recycling and composting in our school and at home. In Art classes, Mrs. Allen is having students make art to connect to this important part of keeping our community green.
Next week we have our first Spirit Week of the year! Thank you to the 5th graders for planning these special days. Each day will be a different theme from Stuffed Animal and PJ Days to Wacky Wednesday and School Colors Day. The staff is really looking forward to this exciting week!
Thanksgiving is near and we’d like to wish all our families a wonderful start to the holiday season. We are grateful for you and your children!
With gratitude and appreciation,
Mrs. MacQueen

We appreciate your kindness!
Winter Activities Update
This year's program will include visiting the Evergreen Activity Center and skiing/snowboarding at Burke Mountain. The first two weeks will be at Evergreen and the following four weeks at Burke. Students will do both activities this year. We hope our students will take the opportunity to support their wellness by participating in these excellent opportunities. The program begins on Monday, February 10th and continues for five more Mondays, concluding
