All students who participate in one of the summer reading activities this year will earn a gift from our first Book Fair. As an added bonus, one lucky reader will win an Amazon Kindle! Complete any of the following activities by August 15th to earn a ticket for the prize drawing. Each student could earn up to 3 tickets!
Email Ms. Sharp (Kimberly.sharp@gcpsk12.org) a photo of your family or child holding a book you loved reading this summer. You can take the picture in your backyard, at the pool, in your favorite reading chair or while on vacation! Make sure you are smiling at the camera!

Little Library
We hope you’ll visit our Little Library this summer! This adorable space was dedicated in honor of a special 4th-grade teacher, Mrs. CeCe Marsh, to continue fostering a love of reading in our students.
Students may bring a book to donate, and in return, select one to enjoy for themselves! *Please limit donations to new or gently used books that elementary students would love!*

Annual Special Education Parent Involvement Survey
Does your child receive special education services at Ivy Creek? Please respond to the survey by May 31st.
As a means of improving results for children with disabilities, the Georgia Department of Education is required to survey parents of students receiving special education services. If you are the parent/guardian of a student receiving services in Gwinnett County you are eligible to participate in this year's survey process. This is an opportunity for your voice to be heard. The feedback you share will help guide local schools' efforts to improve Special Education services and results for children and families. The survey is available on-line and can be accessed on the Georgia Department of Education website. Survey responses must be submitted by May 31, 2025. Thank you for your input!
