Fellow Jaguars,
As we approach the end of our Fall semester, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that we have accomplished together as a school community. It has truly been a remarkable first half of the school year, and I could not be prouder of our students, staff, and families.
Our Jaguars have continued to excel in every area – from academics to athletics to activities – demonstrating time and again the hard work, dedication, and spirit that make Rock Canyon High School such a special place. It is a great day to be a Jag!
Our students have shown exceptional commitment to their studies, achieving high marks and tackling new challenges with enthusiasm. Whether in the classroom or through advanced coursework, we are continuously impressed by the intellectual curiosity and academic excellence that define our Jaguars.
On the field, our athletic teams have demonstrated grit, resilience, and sportsmanship. It has been an absolute joy to watch our students compete at the highest levels and represent Rock Canyon with pride. Whether it’s been a thrilling victory or a hard-fought game, our athletes have made us proud every step of the way.
Outside of the classroom, our students have excelled in clubs, performances, and other extracurricular activities. From the art displayed in the halls to music performances, drama productions to leadership opportunities, our Jaguars continue to shine. The dedication of our students and the support of our staff and families continue to make RCHS the best around.
As I reflect on all of these accomplishments, I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a dedicated, passionate community. The pride we all share in Rock Canyon High School is what makes it such a special place, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to work alongside such talented students, staff, and families.
As we head into the winter break, I want to extend my warmest wishes to all of you. I hope everyone enjoys some well-deserved rest, time with loved ones, and moments of joy and relaxation. I look forward to seeing you all in the new year as we continue to build on the success of this semester.
Thank you for your ongoing support and for all you do to make Rock Canyon a place where our students can thrive. Happy holidays, and I can’t wait to see what the second half of the year brings!
Warm regards,
Andy Abner
Principal
