The Sandcastle Times - July 2022
"Building Strong Foundations for Lifetime of Learning"
A message from Holly Bevilacqua, COO
With summer underway and the smell of sunscreen filling the halls, we are excited for the next month ahead. The sun is shining and our teachers have planned a full summer curriculum of activities and events!
Our Camps have kicked off the summer with a bang and have lots of upcoming adventures to keep them busy. If you know someone who would like to join in the fun, we have a few spaces available for upcoming camp weeks.
To stay abreast of upcoming activities please refer to the Monthly Calendars or the Carelot website. www.carelot.net. We would love to have you join us for a planned activity. Or, feel free to contact your child’s teacher if you would like to just come to visit or even share a talent with the children.
Do you know someone looking for a career with children? Have them look no further. Carelot is now hiring in all our centers as our programs continue to expand.

SUMMER FUN WITH YOUR CHILDREN!
Summer tips and reminders
We are always looking for parent/family volunteers. Come and share a favorite story, make a snack or craft with the children, or just come and spend time in your child’s classroom!
When going on vacation this summer please inform the teachers of the days you will be out so they can plan accordingly. Thank you!
Summer activities and events may change your daily plans. Please remember to call the center by 9:00 am if your child will be absent or in late. This helps us plan our staffing for the day. Thank you!
Water play has officially begun in our centers. The children really look forward to these days so please make sure your child has a complete set of water play clothes here so everyone can participate. This includes a bathing suit/extra clothes, water shoes, & a towel. We do water play at least a couple of times during the week as part of our gross motor/sensory curriculum! Don’t forget to apply sunscreen to your child before they arrive each day! Paba free and SPF of 15 or higher, please! Water play occurs on various days depending on the weekly schedule and weather so please have your child’s water play items at school each week! Check with your child's classroom for details.

A Message from our Accounting Department
~Billing Reminder: Your tuition account is billed every FRIDAY and therefore you will be charged for the upcoming week on Fridays. Please plan accordingly- Please remember that EFT payments may not show up in your bank account until the following Monday or Tuesday.
All payments are to be made online using Tuition Express
Tuition is required for all days a child is enrolled. Since the program bases its fees on annual costs, your contracted weekly tuition rate is required whether a child is absent or not. There is a 10% discount for the 2nd child enrolled and a 20% discount on the third child enrolled in the program.
An Annual Registration Fee of $70.00 is due by September 1st of each year per family.
~Withdrawal Notice Reminder: With summer changes and Fall approaching, a quick reminder that a 2-week withdrawal notice is required. Families may withdraw their children from the center at any time. The center withdrawal notice must be completed at least two weeks (10 business days) in advance of withdrawal. This form can be found on the www.carelot.net FORMS page. Withdrawal notification is not official without this form being completed. (Your two-week tuition deposits are applied to the last two weeks of care ONLY if a two-week written notice is given) A current credit card authorization form is required on file for any remaining balances not paid in full at the time of withdrawal.
