Hello, Longwood Families!
It was a wonderful week at Longwood! On Monday we held our Longwood Leader Breakfast to honor amazing students who exemplified the trait of being a Community Contributor. See photos below of some of the many students who were recognized. Our leadership trait for the month of October is self-control.
We loved celebrating our first Future Ready Friday Spirit Day! Students represented a variety of careers, from scientists to emergency personnel, and showcased various colleges and universities. It was wonderful to see our students inspire others to dream big about their futures!
Reminders:
- PTA Meeting this Tuesday at 7:00pm. A guest D204 speaker will join our meeting to discuss and take questions about the referendum on the November ballot.

We would like to welcome you to our first “proper” PTA meeting on October 8th in the Longwood LMC. Our primary topics will be:
Fall Fest
We will have a guest speaker from IPSD 204, to discuss and take questions about the school referendum on the November ballot. Please come learn about the district’s plans for building improvements and maintenance, and how the district’s finances work.
