Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
We give thanks for the many ways we are united to each other as disciples of Christ, and we pray together that we may be even more united one with another and all of us with Christ. At Legal School, all our morning prayers centred on the theme of Christian Unity this week.
We focus on and pray for unity amongst Christians all over the world.
During the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity – and every day – our schools are encouraged to pray that the barriers that divide the Christian community may be broken down and that one day we may be one in Christ, as Jesus is one with the Father.
Blessings for a wonderful week ahead,
Lisa Kleparchuk, Principal
Sheri Crowston, Vice Principal

Overwhelmed by BIG Goals?
The onset of a New Year traditionally represents a fresh start, presenting us with opportunities to leave our old habits behind and create new ones. Is your child preparing to accomplish some big New Year's resolutions this year? These goals look like:
Making the sports team
Getting better grades
Keeping their room clean
Learning to cook
Getting down to the details of their goals can be overwhelming and even daunting. So what can we do to help?
We can play a part in guiding our children to approach their goals in more manageable ways instead of trying to tackle and perfect them all at once. Reducing the pressure to make straight A's or be the captain of every sports team, will allow for children to adapt to their goals at their own pace, ensuring they remain optimistic and driven.
Check out this week’s resources from Big Life Journal that can help your child keep their goals organized and easily attainable!

Christmas Hamper Thank You!
To our community partners:
I just want to take a moment to thank you all for your commitment to the Christmas Hamper Program last month. This year we were able to ensure that 30 families in the Town of Legal, and surrounding community, had everything they needed to enjoy their Christmas, while celebrating the birth of Christ, community and family unity.
This was a record year for the program, and if it wasn’t for your ongoing charity of donations and service, the program would not be a success. On behalf of the St. Emile Men of Service, please pass on a big thank you to all those working in your organization. We hope to continue providing the hampers in the years to come, as we have done for over the past decade, and look forward to your continued support.
Many blessings to you and yours in 2025,
Kurtis Hauptman
