Encouragement for SOL Retakes
The Virginia Board of Education has authorized school districts to offer students in grades 3-8 the chance to retake Standards of Learning (SOL) tests this spring. Students meeting specific criteria, such as scoring between 375 and 399 on the first attempt or facing extenuating circumstances, are eligible for a quicker retake. Parents are required to provide consent by filling out the attached Expedited Retake Parental Consent form for their child to retake a SOL test.
