This course will provide fundamental knowledge in the areas of Entitlement, Menu Planning, Forecasting and DoD Fresh to allow for better use of entitlement funds in the new USDA Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) system.

**We will have a special guest speaker from Gold Star Foods presenting a Full Overview of Goldstar Foods Website in relation to Direct Delivery , WBSCM, and how to use commodity calculators to plan orders for processing and direct delivery.**

ICN/TDA INTRODUCTION TO SCHOOL NUTRITION LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

This multiple-session program will provide an overview of school nutrition programs, define the role and responsibilities of a manager or director, and review the relationship between local policies and State/Federal regulations. Sessions include Key Performance Indicators, Meal Patterns, Food Production Records, Marketing, Procurement, Inventory Management and more. The course has been developed to encourage open-group discussion so participants can be actively involved in learning the skills and knowledge needed for the daily operation of school nutrition programs.
