Grade 1
Inquiry Day- Integrating to learn and learn to integrate. Grade 1 students had a great learning experience on Inquiry day wherein they presented how inquiry is being fostered in the class. Learners then engaged the parent body in different transdisciplinary activities which they perform in the class. In the end, it helped them to develop multiple skills like communication skills, presentation skills and self-management skills.
3D shapes activity- During this group learning engagement learners explored the classroom environment and were focused to identify different 3-D shapes around them. Instead of this then they built their 3-D shapes using different manipulative. This learning engagement helped them to be more open-minded and caring towards their pals and also built their social skills and communication skills
Grade 2
Inquiry Day- Grade 2 had their Inquiry Day which was filled with fun and enthusiasm and also showcased the integration and collaboration between the teachers and students where they had the opportunity to wear their thinking hats and explore this journey of learning. Parents were also given the opportunity to become a part of a student's learning. Students were given wider opportunities to develop their Approaches to learning and IB learner profiles as they conducted various activities such as Quiz, integration of Hindi poem, Mystery bag and addition rush which helped them develop the Social and Communication Skills. We could see the development of Self Management skills in students as they were able to manage themselves on the stage on their own and present confidently. Students and teachers worked collaboratively as students were also given the opportunity to wear their thinking hats and explore this journey of learning.
Cause and Effect Activity- Keeping in mind the student agency, students were given the choice to choose cause or effect from the options given. After choosing, they wrote the possible cause or effect for the option chosen. Hence, development of Thinking Skills and becoming Knowledgeable.
Grade 3

Mental maths quiz has been a rich experience for the children as they got the opportunity to show their intellectual skills. It was an engaging, fun and team building activity for the kids where they developed their numeracy skills and it helped them to improve their number sense.
Janmashtami Celebration- Festivals are integral to build cultural habits and growth with good ethics. Students enjoyed and learnt the glory of the festival in a fun manner by decorating Makhan -Handi using pattern and doodle Art work.
English Recitation Competition-
“Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and thought has found words”,keeping this in mind students recited the poem at their natural pace where they showed ease, comfort and engagement with the audience through physical presence ,including appropriate body language and confidence.
Field Trip-” Nothing teaches you more than exploring the world and accumulating experiences” , as a part of the extended learning in collaboration with Unit of Inquiry students went to a famous art gallery of town where they explored visual Art as a medium of expression and an opportunity to embrace intercultural understanding.
Grade 4
Mental Math Quiz- “Competing at the highest level is not about winning it’s about preparation, courage, understanding, nurturing young minds to achieve goals” based on this thought our children attempted mental maths quiz and developed their thinking skills.
English Recitation Competition–“Success is determined by confidence and fortitude and one can build a better world by realising one’s own potential and self-confidence” To build their confidence students engaged themselves in English recitation competition.
Fun learning Engagement –Students explored the different aspects of stable structures and constructed attractive and tacky sunglasses and enhanced their social and thinking skills.
Inquiry Day-Display and showcase of the understanding of learning of the transdisplinary theme..Inquiry day gave a platform to students to develop their social skills by performing for their parents and taking ownership of the event.It was a amalgamation of learning and performing arts.Learners engaged their parents in their journey of understanding by playing games and quizzes.
Students displayed their art skills by preparing artistic rakhis and by writing Reflection on Raksha Bandhan. .
Election Activity-Election activity was conducted in the class where learners displayed their understanding of the unit “How we organise ourselves” Unique logos and amazing speech were prepared by the students to contest as a candidate and also as a voter.
