MARTY'S MINUTE
I wanted to share my reflections on the recent Native American Student Parade hosted by the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe. Attending this event for several years has always been one of the best parts of my year. Starting as a result of the pandemic, this event is a perfect example of how our community responds to adversity by coming together to support positive experiences for our students.
Participating in the Native American Student Parade is always a profoundly enriching experience. The parade serves as a powerful reminder of the vibrant cultural heritage that our Native American students bring to our school community. The pride, tradition, and unity on display were not just inspiring but also a testament to the strength of our diverse community. It was heartwarming to see our students and their families unite to celebrate their heritage.
I want to thank our friends at the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe and all the other staff and community members who make this annual tradition a success. Your hard work and commitment made it possible. Thank you for your ongoing support of our students.
