Quarter 2 After School Activities
We want to extend a huge thank you for your incredible generosity during the Drive for Schools contest! Your contributions have made a significant impact, and because of your support, we are excited to announce that Homework Club will be open and available for all students during the 2nd quarter!
Homework Club will run Monday-Thursday in Room 62 and provide a quiet place for students to study, get help with their work, and receive support in subjects like math, language arts, and science. It’s a great opportunity for students to focus on their assignments in a supportive environment.
Additionally, we will be sending out an Afterschool Club Interest Survey this week to gather feedback and expand our afterschool offerings! Keep an eye out for the survey—this is a great way for students to express what activities they’d love to see after school.
Thanks again for your ongoing support in making our school a vibrant and enriching place for all students!

Important Parking Reminder
We have recently received important updates from the Capitola Police Department regarding parking around our school. Please read the following carefully, as these issues directly impact our neighbors and community:
Disabled Parking Enforcement at St. Joseph’s Church:
Capitola PD have been notified of complaints regarding parents parking in the disabled parking spots at St. Joseph’s Church. Please be aware that Parking and Community Service Officers will be enforcing parking regulations in this area, especially regarding disabled spaces. Parking in these spaces without a proper permit will result in fines, with no warnings given. Let’s ensure we respect the rights of those who need these spaces.Private Road Use on the 400 Block of Monterey:
Residents have informed Capitola PD that the 400 block of Monterey is a private roadway. It is prohibited for parents to use this area for dropping off or picking up students. We kindly ask that all parents follow the designated drop-off and pick-up zones around the school to help maintain positive relationships with our neighbors.
Please help us by following these guidelines, and if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. Thank you for your attention to these matters and for your continued support in keeping our school community respectful and safe.
