Sign Up For Winter Break Camp
Right At School, our community’s trusted after school program provider, is offering a full-day
camp at Victor Falls Elementary on December 26th , 27th , 30th and 31st as well as January 2nd and
3rd during our school district’s winter break.
RAS educators provide a safe and fun place for your child to socialize, exercise, learn, and
explore their imagination when school is out of session. From hands-on, brain-stimulating
activities to fun fitness games, playground sports, arts and crafts, board game tournaments, and
more — RAS will keep your student happy and engaged so you can focus on your to-do list.
Visit the RAS Winter Break site to search your school, view pricing and schedules, and start
your registration.
Right At School’s mission is to support the needs of our school community, inspire a love of
learning in kids, and give parents and guardians peace of mind. We hope you’ll consider using
their programs this school year.
Highly Capable Referrals Program Now Open
Does your child perform at significantly advanced academic levels compared to others? Consider referring them for the district's Highly Capable Program. SBLSD’s highly capable program provides services, curriculum and activities that extend learning beyond the curriculum provided in schools and is designed so that all students of outstanding levels of aptitude may develop their abilities.
The referral period is open now through Dec. 12. Students can be referred by a staff member, a parent/guardian, or a community member using these referral forms: English, Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian.
Note: Second and fifth grade students will participate in a Highly Capable Universal Screener in the fall, so they do not need to be referred to be considered for services.
