PBIS - Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports
PBIS Expectations Matrix
At Carlson we look at PBIS as Postive Thoughts, Positive Actions, and Positive Outcomes. Our Behavior Matrix is best looked at as the "Marauder Experience", and explains our expectations for the various areas our students inhabit throughout their day at Carlson.
As we celebrate our Marauder's, and the good choices they make, we are always looking for fun and easy donations from you! We have included this QR code for you to use. We will also be updating throughout the year various ways you can help us. All donations go directly to students via our Fun Lunch Friday's, PBIS Awards, and our now famous Party Cart!!!
Easy Money for CHS Kids through Kroger!

Perfect Attendance Awards
Attendance Matters!
What an awesome month of September! We’re thrilled to announce that 282 students achieved perfect attendance last month! That means 25.5% of our students showed up every single day, rain or shine. To make it even better, that’s a big jump from last year’s 218 students (which was 19.7% of our school).
Let’s keep this momentum going and aim for even higher numbers next month! Who’s ready to make October just as amazing? Stay motivated, show up, and let’s celebrate even more success!
Students who received Perfect Attendance for the month of September received a personalized certificate and a free meal at the Homecoming Tailgate!
Testing - Virtual Learning Day
A virtual day means that every teacher of an in-person class will assign a specific assignment for 10/15 and these will be due on 10/15. Students will need to take their chromebooks home for their 10/15 online assignments. Students must complete and submit the assignment for each class on 10/15 by the end of the day or will be considered absent for each class that the assignment is not submitted.
If students are having trouble with any of their virtual assignments for their in-person classes, teachers will be available via email in the afternoon after testing is complete. If you have an online class through Edgenuity or Michigan Virtual, these will assign work as usual.
September Student of the Month
Congratulations to freshman Livia Boucher for being our Student of the Month for September. Livia has had a great start to her high school career. She was nominated because of her involvement with her class by being an active member in building their Homecoming float. She was also extremely kind and helpful to others throughout the month. Congratulations Livia!
