Points of Pride
Expanded Course Offerings
This is our first year running a new Freshmen program called Outdoor Pursuits. Students in the program have three consecutive periods where they earn math, science, and PE credits through hands-on projects such as kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, and outdoor survival skills.
Students participate in a Law Enforcement class with Beth Nicholson and Officer Hunter where they learn skills such as K9 Handling, handcuffing, accident report analysis, and self-defense (to name only a few topics).
Our Growing Art, Music and Theater Programs
While COVID had a dramatic impact on our fine arts programming, we have been thrilled to watch it grow to numbers surpassing pre-COVID participation! Our theater program has more than tripled, while chorus and band have tripled to quadrupled in size. Marching band has also returned and continues to grow!
