Masks
Please remember these things for mask care:
- It is a good idea to wash the mask after each school day.
- You can hand wash the mask and leave it in the sun to dry.
- You can wash and dry the mask with normal laundry (hint--put in a bag to prevent wear and tear).
- It is a good idea to have at least two masks so that you can rotate them. It may also be a good idea to put a spare one in the backpack in case you forget it one day.

Virtual School
We want to review a few items with you in order to help make our learning experiences better for our students!
- Please try to find a quiet place for your child to participate.
- Please try to limit background noise and interruptions from others.
- Students may struggle in bed or on a couch, so a place with a table and chair is ideal for the live lessons.
- We are required to take attendance for our virtual students each day. The attendance is updated at the end of each week. Teachers are also tracking attendance for sessions. Teachers will provide a weekly summary of attendance at each lesson/check-in session.
- Our teachers are working on recording video sessions in case your child misses a live session. These are a work in progress and often take time to upload…please be patient.
We appreciate your support in order to make this learning experience the best for your child!
Kokomo Rescue Mission Food Support
The Kokomo Rescue Mission is continuing to offer their Grocery Sack Assistance. Please note that the distribution time to receive the grocery sacks has changed to the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10:00 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm from their Warehouse located at 314 W. Mulberry Street. The drive-through line to receive the grocery sacks will begin in the gravel parking lot on the corner of Washington and Taylor Street. Walk-ups are welcome, forming a line at the Warehouse. Along with receiving a bag of groceries, the following items may be available upon request: diapers, feminine products, and adult incontinence items. A photo ID is all that is required, limited to one bag per household per week.
Since March, the Kokomo Rescue Mission has provided 2,147 bags of groceries to those experiencing many challenges throughout this COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you to all who have supported the Mission during these uncertain times. Your kindness, generosity and prayers have allowed us to continue offering hope to those in our community. Please be aware that this event is subject to change without notice. Contact us at 765-456-3838 for current updates or more information.
