Huskies Have HEART Newsletter
September 15, 2024
Greetings Central Heights Students and Families,
Monday, September 16th is a B-day! All students have been issued their school-owned chromebooks now! Please remind your student to bring their chromebook home each night after school AND charge it. Students are struggling to keep their chromebooks charged, which creates a lot of distractions in learning. As a reminder, here is the Digital Device Agreement that students signed at the beginning of the year: Student Digital Device Agreement
Thank you for taking the time to read our newsletter! If there is anything you would like to see in our newsletter or questions you have about school that may help other families learn more about school, please reach out and ask!
Please mark your calendars for our Fall Family Fun Night:
Thank you to those who have already donated supplies for our team-building activities for SP30. We are hoping to get a few more donations; please check the signup genius if you’re interested in donating materials.
For all middle school sports (held at Central Heights, Prairie View, or Patrick Marsh), students must first go home and then return with a parent/caregiver to watch the sporting event. Students will not be allowed to enter the game without one of their own parents/caregivers and will be asked to leave the building.
Shout out to a parent who read our newsletter and asked a great question! With the A/B rotation, it can be super tricky to know what day is an A or B day. These days are pre-loaded for the school year and here’s a cheat sheet to share with you:
Referendum:
The SPASD’s webpage for November’s referendum is a great resource to learn more before election day.
