HAVE YOU SECURED YOUR SPOT FOR THE 25-26 SCHOOL YEAR?

All current families are required to re-enroll for the 25-26 school year. Please complete the registration link that was sent to you through email and pay the $85 registration fee to secure your spot as soon as possible. The Re-Enrollment period for current families ends February 28th.

You can pay $85 registration fee one of three ways:

1. by sending it into the school with your child, in an envelope, labeled “office”
2. by mailing it to: 820 Cherry St. Huntington, IN 46750 ATTN: Jacqueline Myers
3. by creating an account on FACTS and following the appropriate prompts for online payment.

Open Enrollment starts March 1st. This means enrollment is open to new families in addition to current families. The Registration Fee for current families will increase to $135. Please also note that classes are considered full at 24, so be sure to register today to secure your spot!

In this week’s family newsletter you will find the 2025-26 school calendar with a hard copy also being sent home with all families at the end of the month. To prevent from having to go directly into eLearning on our first cancellation, two Snow Makeup Days have been added just prior to Spring Break on the 2025-26 calendar. This also lessens the chances of having to add extra days on at the end of the school year if we utilize all of our allotted eLearning & Virtual Learning Days.

Please remember that edits or changes may take place along the way prior to the 2025-26 school year. If changes do occur an updated calendar with the corrected dates will be sent to our families as soon as possible.

Parents: We are in need of coaches for Intramural Basketball! If you are interested in helping coach, we are having a Coaching Clinic next Tuesday (2/11) at St. Mary's Gym, from 5 to 7pm. The clinic will provide you with skills drills for the following: dribbling, shooting, defense, offensive movement, and basic court sense. These will be fundamental drills, no set offense, simply bedrock skills needed to build 5 on 5 skills for our student athletes. Please contact Mike Hannan at 356-356-2320 for more information.

All students in grades 5th - 8th interested in playing Golf this spring can sign up in the cafeteria during lunch time. If you do not have clubs, we have extra sets or will make arrangements so you can play.

Bishop Luers High School NEW FRESHMAN REGISTRATION for the 2025-2026 school year

is now open! There are only 15 spots left and we are filling up quickly. The application can be

found online at www.bishopluers.org, click on the Admissions tab and then the “New Freshman”

button. The link to set up an account in our parent portal can be found by clicking the

BISHOP LUERS BOYS BASKETBALL FEEDER NIGHT – All middle school boys basketball

players are invited to get in free to the Luers home game on Friday, February 21 st . Doors open

at 5pm – Freshman play at 5pm, JV at 6pm and Varsity at 7:30pm. A free throw shooting

contest (with prizes) will be held at halftime of the Varsity game! Check in at the table on the

home side doors; wear a school t-shirt or basketball jersey to get in free.

Bishop Luers Baseball Camp - This camp is for 1st–8th graders (2024-2025 school year) and

will be held on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2. Grades 1st-4th will meet from 12:30pm-

2:00pm and Grades 5th-8th will meet from 2:30-4:00pm. This camp will be in the Bishop Luers

Gymnasium, 333 E. Paulding Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46816. Cost is $40.00 per camper. Visit

Future Lady Knights Basketball – Future Knights is for feeder school girls who are interested

in playing basketball in the spring. Girls are given the opportunity to meet and play with their

future classmates at Bishop Luers while working on their fundamentals. February 16 – Try

out/Meet your Team at Bishop Luers. 5th & 6th grade from 4-5:15pm, and 7th and 8th grade

from 5:30-7pm. Cost is $125 per player, which includes jersey, court/practice time, and 3
