Thank you the 125+ families that were able to join us for Treats with a Toro! This is quickly becoming a favorite tradition for our school community--we love watching our middle schoolers and their families share a lunchtime together. Our next Treats with a Toro is in May!

Trimester 2 Conferences are this Tuesday, February 4th from 3-5pm. Every one of our families is invited to attend, however; it's crucial to attend if your student is receiving a D or F in any class. Use this time to partner with the teacher and your student to develop a plan so these grades can improve by the end of the trimester.

At Yorba Middle School, we commemorate Black History Month by honoring the significant contributions and achievements of African Americans throughout history. We recognize their resilience, creativity, and leadership in shaping our society. Through various educational activities, discussions, and presentations, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the rich cultural heritage and legacy of the Black community. Black history is American history and YMS grows scholars, leaders and champions of the world. Our commitment to inclusivity and diversity underscores the importance of recognizing and celebrating the diverse tapestry of our nation's history.

To continue fostering a College and Career atmosphere during middle School, Yorba Middle School students and staff participate in College Shirt Wednesdays! (including AVID & Military branch shirts).

Thank you for reviewing our school's Cell Phone and Dress Code policies with your student.

We appreciate your support to ensure we are prioritizing an academic and healthy social emotional environment for our students.

Student cell phones are allowed, but must be kept off in and in the backpack at all times. Should a parent or guardian need to contact a student during the school day, they can do so by contacting the main office. Students also have access to the office phones as needed. Students violating the cell phone policy will have their phones confiscated. In the event a student’s cell phone is confiscated, it will be held in the front office and must be picked up by the student’s parent or guardian. LOST or STOLEN personal items are NOT the responsibility of the school to locate or replace.

School Uniforms and PE Clothes are available for purchase in the front office.
