Solar eclipse or lunar eclipse?
What is the difference? Science by Mila Maretich
What is a solar eclipse?
A solar eclipse is when the moon passes in between the Earth and the sun, blocking out most or all of the sun.
What is a lunar eclipse?
A lunar eclipse is when the earth passes between the moon and Sun, and the Earth's shadow blocks out most or all of the moon.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
It's easy! In the solar eclipse, you can't see the sun, but in a lunar eclipse, you can see the sun, but mot the moon!
