September Perfect Attendance
September Attendance Traveling Trophy Winner
Attendance is a priority at Wiley Elementary. We have a school wide challenge going on between each classroom. Our challenge is to see which classroom can have the highest percentage of attendance for the month. The class that has the highest attendance rate for the month gets to display a traveling trophy in their classroom for the month. Congratulations to Mrs. Forgey's 3rd grade class for having the highest attendance rate for the month of September. They had a 98.3% attendance rate. Kindergarten was a close second with a 98.2% attendance rate.
September Improved Attendance

September Character Trait Winners
We have started focusing on certain character traits for each month at Wiley Elementary. For the month of September, we focused on being "Helpful." Students received tickets either nominated by a classmate or a teacher for being helpful. Students wrote down the reason they received the ticket and then displayed it on a scarecrow in the hallway. Teachers also were nominated for the same reasons. There were four student and staff tickets drawn at the assembly for a prize. For October, we will add the character trait of being polite to the list. Great job and keep up the great work!
