January S'Mores Newsletter

Assistant Principal Kari Varichak
Greetings ALC Students and Families,
Happy New Year!
As we start off 2025, I want us to take a moment to reflect on the first part of the year and be thinking about goals we have as we look forward to the second semester. Of course we are all here to make progress towards graduation, but let’s think about it on a smaller scale and set intentional goals for each week and day.
Here are a few reminders about graduation that were shared last month as well.
ALC graduation ceremony is on May 22, 2025
High School graduation ceremony on May 29, 2025
Students can choose either or both to attend, we encourage both
Students MUST BE DONE with ALL 27 credits by May 22 in order to walk at graduation
An indicator of being on track to graduate this school year is if you have 8 or fewer credits at this point in the year
Know your Credit Check - reach your goal every 3 weeks to graduate by your goal date
Focus on what you have control over and know that the teachers/staff are here to support you - You got this!
If you have any questions/comments, please reach out to me at any time.
Happy New Year!
Kari
