Meridian Award of Excellence
Congratulations to Jamie Stottlemyer, Assistant Superintendent of Facilities & Operations at WBSD for receiving the MSBO Meridian Award of Excellence!
The Meridian is a special recognition award acknowledging successful practices in all areas of school management and education.
Volunteer for Mileage Club
In order for the Mileage Club operate we need parent volunteers to take the wagon out to the field, help students get their running tags, use the EZscan app to scan student QR codes and then bring the wagon back inside. It is an easy end enjoyable opportunity to work with our Lakers! We will not run if the fields are too muddy or if it is drizzling.
Days of the Week: Flexible, we try to have Mileage Club two-three days a week. Pick a day!
Time: Sheiko - 10:45 a.m. -1:15 p.m., Doherty, Gretchko and Scotch - 11:45-2:15 p.m.
There are two roles for which you can volunteer:
- Mileage Club Captain - coordinate building volunteers, explain to volunteers how to use the app to track student progress. Please note we already have a captain for Gretchko!
- Volunteer - setting up the course with cones, scanning students' QR code as they run/walk laps, bringing the wagon and cones back inside afterward. Volunteers must complete an iChat form.
Please help us thank our generous Mileage Club sponsors Community Financial Credit Union (CFCU) and Outstanding Orthodontics!
