Support Student Mental Health on World Mental Health Day!
The Education Foundation of New Berlin (EFNB), in partnership with the School District of New Berlin’s Mental Health Advisory Committee, is launching a special day of giving on October 10 in honor of the WHO’s World Mental Health Day. Funds raised will go directly to the Drew Lietke Memorial Mental Health Care Fund at the EFNB, ensuring that all students in the district can access essential mental health care, regardless of financial barriers. Please consider making a donation here to help us reach our $2,500 goal to provide support for student well-being. STILL IMPORTANT!
School safety is one of our top priorities in the School District of New Berlin. We consistently review and revise our safety plans and protocols in an effort to provide the safest learning environments possible for all students. Additionally, we have safety measures in place after school when our buildings are open to the public for sporting events, concerts/performances, meetings, practices, and more.
Over the summer, in an effort to enhance safety throughout the district, the bell and public address systems at all schools were upgraded. The new systems will provide improved alerts and communications options in the event of an emergency. Additionally, this school year all elementary schools will have the presence of a security guard throughout the school day. The security personnel will patrol the schools and provide additional safety support in conjunction with the district’s school resource officers, who spend the majority of their day at our respective middle / high schools..
Thank you for your attention to this and your continued support of our safety measures. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to Royce Lindner by phone at (262) 789-6505 or by email at royce.lindner@nbexcellence.org
