Every Monday we spend some time together during our Rise and Shine Assembly. This "all school" assembly allows us to come together to focus on a character core value, discuss Zones of Regulation, celebrate our staff members, and so much more. As we move into our final 4-day week before Spring Break, please review the video below and discuss the importance of showing kindness towards others. (This video comes from our Character Education curriculum.) I am impressed by how our staff and students show kindness every day.

Below you will find links with information in regards to the upcoming Growth and Development unit that is part of the Health Curriculum. These forms are provided to assist parents in identifying lesson content and timeline for the implementation of the unit. While we hope that you will see these topics as important to your child’s health, we do wish to inform you of your right to excuse your child from any of these lessons. If you wish for your child to NOT participate in some or all of the lessons, please complete the grade level informational form attached and return it to your child’s Health and Physical Education Teachers by March 26th.

Interested in running club? If so, and your child(ren) is either a 3rd, 4th or 5th grader, you are welcome to sign up HERE. If you do not have a printer at home (like me)... let Mr. King or Ms. Sydnor know and they will send one home.

We will administer social-emotional surveys to students in grades 3-5 and staff as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting student success. These surveys gather valuable student feedback on school safety, sense of belonging, relationships, and more.

Students will take the surveys between March 31 - April 11. They take about 15 minutes and are the same as those administered earlier this winter. They will allow us to identify areas of growth.
