You are invited to Coffee & Conversation with Principal Mehner, THIS Friday, February 7, 7–8 AM in the Skyview Middle School Library. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Skyview, connect with our school community, and ask any questions you may have.

Skyview is committed to making this event accessible to all families and will provide interpretation support as needed. If you require an interpreter, please contact Skyview Main Office Manager, Melissa Kline, at mkline@nsd.org or 425-408-6801.

Skyview PTSA are partnering with the Skyview to bring you this event. We (Skyview PTSA) will be providing the coffee & donuts!

The Skyview Spelling Bee was a tremendous success! Of the 58 registered participants, 41 talented spellers took the stage, showcasing their skills and determination over nearly three hours and 12 intense rounds.

Here are the top three finishers:

• Champion - Anahata Guha (7th grade)
• Runner-up - Aayush Rane (8th grade)
• 3rd Place - Rithika Adulla (6th grade)

Pop into the Chick-fil-A and order at the counter for take-out or dine-in, and mention the fundraiser! 10% of sales will be donated to our PTSA! It's a 2 hour window, so lets see if we can fill the restaurant! Learn more.

Skyview PTSA & North Creek PTSA are hosting a Food Drive benefiting their joint food pantry (serving both schools). The food drive is scheduled for Sunday, February 23, 10am-3pm.

MONITOR COLLECTION STATIONS: We need volunteers to monitor the tables outside the entrances to QFC. Volunteers will hand out flyers with a shopping list and kindly ask community members if they want to help. Sign up here.

DONATE FOOD: Save the date for the food drive, swing by QFC, and contribute if you can!

Bothell Police contacted our PTSA regarding two (2) parent education sessions they are hosting at the Bothell Police Department Community Room (18410 101st Ave NE, Bothell, WA 98011).

The two presentations are:

• February 11, 6:30pm - "Protecting Your Children, Advice from Child Molesters"
• February 25, 6:30pm - "The Digital Playground: Understanding Risks and Protecting Your Child"

The Music Boosters Club at Skyview Middle School is hosting an fundraiser event called Dessert Night on Friday, February 7, 2025, 7-8:30pm. The music students will be presenting live music in small groups or solos while a team of volunteers sells desserts. Sounds like a lot of fun - and helps out a great program.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: They need volunteers to help from about 6pm to 9pm. We are happy if you can contribute just one hour, two hours, or however long you are able. Sign Up Genius Link for Volunteers

Skyview ASB is selling Valentine Grams (now thru Thursday 2/13) that will be delivered on Valentine's Day (Friday, February 14). Find details here.

Also, Skyview ASB Spirit Week is next week, February 10-14. Help your student remember the theme each day!

• Monday - Show LOVE for Your Favorite Sports Team
• Tuesday - We LOVE our Friends - TWIN DAY!
• Wednesday - Wear what you LOVE (favorite shirt, pants, shoes, etc)
• Thursday - We LOVE our Hobbies (wear something related to your hobbies)
• Friday - RED & PINK OUT (wear red and/or pink!)

Thank you to the volunteers who helped with sorting, organization & logging of Skyview's emergency prep supplies on Monday, January 27! It was a CHILLY day - but they were able to complete the task in the first "shift". Special thanks to our E-Prep Chair, Leana Thomas, for organizing and leading this event. Learn more.
