Graduation time!
Thank you to the community in helping us in honoring and congratulating our seniors this week!
Reminder that the Stanwood High School graduation ceremony is 7 p.m. tonight (June 7) at Bob Larson Stadium. This is a ticket-only event. However, anyone can watch online via our livestream options.
At 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, Lincoln Hill High holds its graduation ceremony in the Stanwood High Performing Arts Center. Family and friends are invited to attend. This event will also be available online via our livestream options.
Additionally, here are a few photo galleries from the parade through downtown on Wednesday and the Roots to Wings program, where seniors went back to their elementary school on Friday to visit with students and staff!
Keep an eye out on our social media and website for links to more photos from each graduation ceremony!
New summer EBT program available
The state is launching a new Summer EBT program, also known as "SUN Bucks."
This new grocery benefits program that provides families $120 for each eligible school-aged child to buy groceries when school is out.
Summer is a time when many children lose the free and reduced-price meals they get at school, and when households might need a little extra help putting meals on the table. Most families will get these benefits automatically, but some parents will need to apply.
Learn more about SUN Bucks online HERE.
Additionally, learn more about our local Free Summer Meals program and Stanwood-Camano Food Bank services on our Food Services Department webpage.
Thank you to our retirees!
As we come to the end of the 2023-24 school year, we have the opportunity to reflect on and recognize the tremendous impact that our retiring employees have had on our students and families. We couldn’t be more thankful for their years of service and time in the Stanwood-Camano School District.
Please join us in celebrating the careers of 22 amazing professionals who are retiring this school year!
These outstanding staff members have devoted a combined 679 years to the field of education — and we were lucky to have many of those years here in our district.
Their devotion to having a positive impact on the lives of thousands of students, families, and colleagues has been extraordinary.
Thank you!
