8th Grade Portrait of a Graduate
This week, 8th Graders completed their Portrait of a Graduate presentations. They are showing seniors the Google site they built to showcase themselves!
Meet the Rigamajig!
The afterschool STEM club at Grandview Elementary have been working with a new construction kit called a Rigamajig! The combinations that students can create are endless!
More Students Join the Junior Park Rangers!
Congratulations to the following Middle School students for completing the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park’s Virtual Junior Ranger Program!

These students completed several virtual activities in an e-book and were awarded a Junior Ranger Badge! They had fun discovering and virtually exploring this Massachusetts Historic Park while learning about the colonial times in the port town of New Bedford and its whaling industry.
5th Grade Visits Bellevue Middle School
This week, 5th grade classes from Grandview Elementary took a trip up to Bellevue Middle and High School to get prepared for their transition into 6th grade! Students presented their Portrait of a Graduate slides to 6th grade teachers, talked with BHS students, explored classrooms, and learned how to open their lockers for next year!

STLP State Champion!
kyler Benitez, our STLP State Champion, was honored at the Board of Education meeting.
Skyler qualified as an STLP State Champion in the Engineers/Ambassadors competition.
He is one out of only thirteen champions. The competition to win a coveted position was quite competitive. He represented Bellevue at the KySTE conference for a week in March where he helped provide his technical expertise to Kentucky state educators. He also provided his expertise at the STLP State Event at Rupp arena with over 20,000 students!

Student Liaison to the Board of Education Receives Recognition
Student Liaison to the Bellevue Board of Education, Gage Morton, was recognized for his service this year. Gage has brought great energy to our Board and is eager to share what is happening in the schools. His enthusiasm for his fellow classmates and school is shown through his monthly reports. We appreciate his service and wish him all the best in his future endeavors!
Second Graders Become Authors!
Grandview Elementary 2nd Graders became authors of their own books! All of the student's personal narratives were brought together in a wonderful book that showcases all of the hard work they put in! Students celebrated their accomplishment by signing the the "Meet the Author" section of each copy. These stories will live on with the students, in their classrooms, and in the library!
Bellevue Baseball Meets the Governor
The BHS Baseball team traveled to Frankfort this week for a game and met Governor Beshear in the process!
Shark Tank at Grandview Elementary!
Ms. Land's 5th graders created business ideas and presented them in their own version of Shark Tank!
5th Grade State Projects
Ms. Tully's 5th graders hosted a state project walkthrough! Different classes and parents from Grandview Elementary came by to learn all about the students' state of choice!
Polly the Therapy Dog Visits BMHS!
Polly the therapy dog spent the day with Bellevue Middle and High School students today on Mental Health Action Day
Field Day!
Friday was Field Day at Grandview Elementary!
Even though it was rainy outside, students still had a fun-filled day!
Come see student artwork at Bellevue Blossoms!
Bellevue Blossoms student artwork is on display now through the weekend! Artwork can be seen in windows from Wesbanco (164 Fairfield) to Cork and Crust (710 Fairfield) and from Ape Made It Boutique (715 Fairfield) to Dobbling Funeral Home (241 Fairfield). Bellevue Blossoms is Saturday, May 18th from 11 AM-4PM! We hope to see you there!
