Maple Grove Fox Report

It has been a fast and furious December! Thank you to all the families and friends who joined us for our Holiday Concerts. It warms my heart to see a gym full of people who care so deeply about and support our learners.

A special shoutout goes to Mrs. Triebold for her incredible talent and dedication in putting together such a wonderful program.

Another shout out to Windy Hill Christmas Tree Farm for the donation of Christmas roping to bing the festive holiday spirit to the front of our school.

We wish you a safe and joyful holiday season and look forward to seeing you back in 2025!

Cold season is here!! Here are some quick points from the nurses office to keep in mind!

• Keep child home until fever free (without using fever-reducing medications) for 24 hours.
• Keep child home until no vomiting/no diarrhea for 24 hours and is able to eat/drink normally.
• If your child isn't sleeping well due to to illness, keep at home!
• Please contact the Health Aide, JoLynne at jfrydenlund@athens1.org for specific questions.

A shout out to Whitetails Unlimited for the donation of a spotting scope, binoculars, and $900 to be used towards our outdoor education materials! Our learners already got to use our spotting scope and binoculars to make our Christmas bird count.

We are still running our Kwik Trip fundraiser sale throughout the school year.

Each school gets a report card from the Department of Education. We are excited to share our schools results! https://apps2.dpi.wi.gov/reportcards/home.

Our staff works hard to put the needs of students first, and we think the results of the report card show that! We will continue to try our best to support and motivate learners to work hard and try their best while gaining important knowledge.

We are still seeing students come to school without the proper winter clothing. Please make sure your kids have:

• Winter hat
• Winter gloves/mittens
• Winter boots
• Warm jacket

We do have a lost and found table, so if your child is ever missing something please feel free to pop in and check out our lost and found table.

Please continue to pull ahead during pick-up and drop-off to avoid traffic issues on Schoolhouse Lane and Hwy L. Also if your child needs help buckling in please pull around to the side of the building on the playground to buckle them so you don't hold up the pick up line. Thank you for your teamwork!

There's no school from Monday, December 23rd until Monday January 1st. Learners will return back to school on Tuesday January 2nd.

Each year we seem to have a visitor this time of the year. Our school elf, Jesper, has made it known that he has gotten into some trouble when we are out of the building! We hope to take some pictures of him each day, if he can stay in one place long enough!
