ECON CHALLENGE RESULTS
Freshmen Richard Chen, Leo Chen, and Luca Kopacz won third in the David Ricardo (non-AP) division of the MN State Econ Challenge. In the Adam Smith (AP) division, Maya Gjelhaug (12), Ben Lu (10), Quincy Shi (11), and Kayleigh Shrom (10) took first, advancing to the national semi-finals round of the competition.
PERSONAL FINANCE DECATHLON RESULTS
Seniors Maya Gjelhaug, Katie Schneider, and Allison Yu took first in the MN State Personal Finance Decathlon, advancing to the national competition in Cleveland in May.
POETRY WINNER
Judges from the English department named Yunru Chen (12) as the winner of this year's Franklin Brainard Memorial Poetry Contest.

GIRLS LACROSSE: MVGLax has another busy week with 3 games:
- Monday (4/29) vs. Irondale at 7:00 PM. Itās Youth Night (rescheduled from Friday due to weather) and Chuck-a-Duck and a GREEN OUT and other fun activities!
- Wednesday (5/1) vs. Forest Lake at 7:00 PM. This is Senior Night!
- Friday (5/3) away at East Ridge at 7:00 PM.
ULTIMATE: Good luck to the Ultimate teams this week! Girls Varsity Ultimate will play Tuesday (4/30) away vs Washburn. Boys Ultimate teams will play Thursday (5/2). Boys Varsity vs Mpls South at Chippewa Middle School (lower field) at 6:00 PM. Boys JV White will be away vs Mpls SW and JV Green will be away vs Mpls South.

MOBILE MUSEUM EXHIBIT
The mobile display focuses on the fight for inclusion of people with developmental disabilities. Students can visit the exhibit during the school day. Families are invited to see it during Communication Night on Tuesday (4/30) between 4-7 PM in the Library.
FRENCH TRIP
Are you in French? Do you want to immerse yourself in a new culture, try new food and see famous monuments without leaving North America? Come learn more on Tuesday (4/30) about the French trip to Montreal and Quebec City! The meeting will be at 6:30 PM in Room 266 (Madame Narum's room). - Time slots may fill up quickly
