Clubs and Classrooms
- AP Spanish: Ms. Ferrante's AP Spanish students finished their Beauty and Esthetics unit with a fashion show of traditional and modern day clothing from Spanish Speaking countries. Take a look at these amazing styles! See pics here!
- AP Art & Design: In preparation for portfolio submissions, Mrs. Dallow's students held a class critique to evaluate their progress this year. Portfolios are due to the college board on May 10th and the students are in good shape!! See some of the work that was discussed here.
- Research Symposium: On April 10th, the Rye Neck community came to the CSC to learn about research being conducted by students in the ILP and Science Research programs. The students presented the results of this year's endeavors, and offered directions for work for next year. See pics here!
- Solar Eclipse: This rare event was enjoyed by all! See some pics! Project Hope is collecting left-over and gently used solar eclipse glasses for families in Latin America so they can experience the solar eclipse in August! Please bring your glasses in to the main office.
- Ice Cream Social: Thank you Student Senate and Mr. Graziano for a delicious send off on a rainy Thursday afternoon! See pics here.
Recognition Abounds!
- Eastern Student Artist Guild Awards: Rye Neck's production of The Outsiders was nominated for several awards including sound design and best production! Also, three Rye Neck actors were nominated for their outstanding performances: PJ Cravinho (best supporting actor), Jian Kawai (best actor), and Alex Kerr (best actor). Congrats to everyone involved in the production and good luck at the awards!! See article here.
- Silver Key: Congratulations Ella Gran for winning a Silver Key in Scholastic's Annual Writing and Art Contest in the novel category for A Dome is not a Home. See pic here.
- Softball phenom: Vote for Shelby Pressier, varsity softball pitcher, LoHud Player of the Week.

- Mangone's Flower Sale was a huge success so we decided to bring it back this year, with delivery just in time for Mother's Day. Details here: Theatre Department Fundraiser.
The prom will be held on Thursday, May 23rd at the Greentree Country Club. The reception hour will begin at 5:00 p.m.; dinner to follow from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Come join the fun!
