Wishing Our Vernon Families a Happy Winter Break! ❄️
We hope this winter break brings you time with loved ones, joyful memories, and a wonderful start to the New Year.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on January 6th as we kick off 2025 together! Here's to a year full of learning, growth, and all we can achieve as a community between now and the end of the school year.

A big shoutout to Martha Bryan for organizing a wonderful music event, and to all our amazing student performers, families, and community members who came out to share in the fun!

FUN, REWARDING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking parents/caregivers of Vernon students at all grade levels to volunteer to work with our kindergarten and first grade students in literacy.
No experience or expertise is needed.
Volunteers will work one-on-one with kindergarteners for brief 10-15 minute sessions on skills like matching letters and sounds and forming letters correctly in writing.
A volunteer training session will be provided.

Vernon’s E-Bike Lending Library
The Vernon Bike Bus has been given an Aventon Abound cargo e-bike for our community to share. Glady's Bikes on Alberta generously built it for free. People in the Vernon community are invited to borrow the bike for up to one month, and then pass it along to the next interested person.
Please make sure you have a place to secure the bike and store it out of the elements.
Complete this form if you are interested in borrowing the bike, and share it with anyone else who may want to give it a try.
SUN School Programming Update
