This Week at École OLPH School
November 11 to 15 & November 18 to 22, 2024
Our Mission Statement
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School
Our Lady of Perpetual Help school is committed to quality education in both official languages fostering in our students respect for life and learning as Christ taught us.
Principal Message
Dear Parents and Students of Our Lady of Perpetual Help,
It's been a busy week at OLPH! After a valuable run of parent-teacher interviews and a solemn, respectful marking of Remembrance Day on Friday. Remembrance Day serves as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made for our freedom, and it was meaningful to honour this day as a school community. We hope you honour it next week in whatever way you can.
Now, with November Break ahead of us, we wish safe travels to those journeying. And while a little rest for the kids is in order, maybe a few chores wouldn’t hurt either (you can tell them Mr. Johnson volunteered them). To all our students, enjoy the time off—we’ll see you in a week.
In Christ,
Mr. Johnson
Principal

Insight Testing
Insight is a group-administered test of cognitive abilities, which will be administered to all Grade 4, 7, and 8 classes in EICS in the middle of November. The assessment is designed to measure cognitive abilities including reasoning, comprehension, memory, and visual/auditory processing. Students do not need to study for the Insight and the results do not impact their school grades. The results provide information about students’ cognitive strengths and areas of weakness to best support and program for all learners. For more information, please visit https://canadiantestcentre.com/cognitive/insight/”. If you have any questions, please contact your school's Collaborative Response Coordinator, Miss Gartner.
