Students First, Every Day!
Dear White Oak Community,
This week we will kick off our annual fun run event! This is our main fundraiser that helps financially support school and classroom supplies, field trips, agenda books, handwriting programs, and so much more! More information on how to make a pledge to support our school will be coming this week, but in the meantime here is an APEX Video to Watch to learn more and get excited!
Apex will be bringing an amazing 2-week long leadership and character-building program to White Oak Elementary. Apex will be helping our students develop lifelong leadership habits and skills that are essential for school and life success. This year's leadership theme is FUTURE!
Students will embark on an incredible two-week journey with the Apex Team. The leadership program focuses on developing student self-control, decision making, and interpersonal skills
vital for school and life success. The quick, engaging lessons tie in with our school’s vision and mission, encourage students to create a positive environment, and inspire them to lead by example.
AS FUTURE LEADERS, WE KNOW THAT WHAT WE DO RIGHT NOW CAN SHAPE OUR WORLD AND MAKE OUR FUTURE BRIGHTER! Thank you, in advance, for your support of Apex!
Please note there is NO SCHOOL THIS THURSDAY (10/3) AND FRIDAY (10/4).
Cheers to Week 8. It's GREAT to be a WILDCAT!
Warmly,
Jen Culbertson
