We are thrilled to announce our very deserving October STAR Polishers. This month we want to recognize Coach Terrell, 7th grade Math teacher and coach, and Mrs. Heppner, Special Education paraprofessional. These two educators work tirelessly both inside and outside of the classrooms to support our students and make sure they are successful! We are so thankful they are at Reynolds!

We are proud to announce REYNOLDS MIDDLE SCHOOL as a MODEL PLC SCHOOL!

Professional learning communities are schools and districts in which educators recognize that the key to improved student learning is ongoing, job-embedded learning for the adults who serve those students.

Model PLC at Work Schools are recognized based on strict criteria, including demonstrating a commitment to PLC concepts, implementing these concepts for at least 3 years, and clear evidence of improved student learning over that period. Once measurable results can be seen, the school must explain its practices, structures, and culture and submit its application for consideration by the PLC Review Committee.

Educators in the schools and districts selected as a Model PLC at Work School have shown a sustained commitment to helping their students achieve at high levels. They have been willing to alter the structure and culture of the organization to reflect their commitment.

Reynolds Middle School is asking the community to help support our students in their exploration of careers. If you are interested in recording a short video that talks about your career, the degree/certification needed for that career, and other pertinent information you think would be of interest to our students, please fill this out by November 15th. The videos will be utilized during our Nest Time, so they can familiarize themselves with different opportunities for their future pathway.

• If you would like to support this event, we are currently selling raffle tickets to give away a Golf Cart! Tickets are $50 and the drawing will be held on November 15th. To purchase a raffle ticket click HERE.

UIL Academics T-shirts for Grades 2-12 are on sale now until December 1 so order yours now!!
Campus colors and the designs are the same as last year. Students will wear their shirts at our meets as well as in the yearbook picture. Parents can also purchase shirts for themselves to support their student.
