Inclement Weather
'Tis the Season
Temperatures will be starting to drop. We go outside (weather permitting, to 10 degrees below zero) for recess every day. Please, please, please start preparing to send your student(s) to school with appropriate winter outerwear. This means:
- warm coat
- winter hat
- mittens or gloves
- scarves
- snow pants
- boots
- Rain coat
- Rain Boots
It is always a good idea to mark your child’s name on all items. You would be surprised how many pairs of black snow pants we get!
Thank You for Your Help!
EACS Interventionists
EACS Families,
Thank you all, especially Mrs. Seagraves, for your aid in helping us fill the interventionist positions at our school! You have made it possible for all of our students to get the help they need to be more successful in class by having the opportunity to get one-on-one interventions. You rock! Better yet! You soar to the occasion!
Thank you Eagle Families.

The ASD Board will vote December 17th on the Rightsizing Initiative plan for school closures and repurposing. Stay tuned to see what they decide and how it will affect EACS.

Way to Go Team for a Successful BINGLOW Experience
Parents,
The first ever Binglow experience was a success! Everyone had a very good time. In the future, we will need all students to be accompanied by an adult during these types of events if we are going to continue to offer them to EACS families.
Student Uniforms
Parents,
Please make sure students have the appropriate uniform items each day. Please check to make sure that out young ladies' skirts are not too short (two inches about the knee is regulation), pants are not too short or tight for any of the students, shoes are appropriate for the uniform type (e.g. gym shoes for PE uniform). We want our students to dress for success and feel comfortable in their clothing. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email our front office. Thank you

Student Homework
Eagle Parents,
Please know it i a school expectation for all students must complete homework each night. You may review this requirement in our Policies and Procedures Manual on our school's webpage (see the excerpt below). This requirement not only prepares students to engage in the high academic rigor and standards of the curriculum but it also allows teachers to do monitor independent learning and for parents to observe and notice what your child(ren) understands. It is imperative for students to complete the homework at home with you.
Middle School students are required to complete homework as well. It is not reflected in this version of the Policies and Procedures Manual. However the recommended time s are as follows:
As always, thank you for choosing to partner with us here at Eagle Academy Charter. We continue to soar in our educational efforts to "encourage[s] academic excellence by integrating proven instructional methods with a challenging curriculum and high expectations. This combination provides every child with the foundation needed to achieve proficiency of Eagle Academy’s performance standards at each instructional level."
