Luminary Walk

Last week we had our annual Webster Luminary walk at the Parks and Rec building. Seniors and their families from Thomas and Schroeder enjoyed a beautiful Webster evening. This was also the first chance for families to pick up their 2024 yard sign. If you still need to pick yours up, they are available outside the Senior Lounge or in the main office.

SENIOR PARADE Details for the senior parade to the middle and elementary schools can be found here and on the Class of 2024 Google classroom page. Please sign up by Monday, June 10. Titans acknowledged for Service
Last night Michael Heller (USCG) and Jason Feliu (USMC) attended the "Our Community Salutes"
(OCS) Connect event at Oak Hill Country Club. The ceremony recognized the class of 2024 students who have enlisted in the military. Congratulations to these young men and women who are making a selfless commitment to join the US military. We look forward to celebrating all of our seniors who are joining the military at this year's graduation.
Titans Care
Our Counseling Center hosted over 50 students and alumni on the 2024 Day of Caring yesterday at Eden Gardens. Thank you to all who attended and participated.
Job & Trades Fair at Webster Thomas High School
We would like to sincerely thank each and every one for their participation in our third annual Job & Trades Fair at Webster Thomas High School. We appreciate the information, conversations and interactive activities you offered at your tables! The counseling team is excited to continue to encourage students to choose their pathway whether that be college, trades, unions, apprenticeships, employment, training, travel and more! Our students and staff are buzzing with positive feedback.
Spring Concert Season
Spring Concert Season is underway here at Thomas High School and you are all invited to our upcoming performances. On Tuesday, May 28th the Wind Ensemble and Philharmonic Orchestra will perform their final concert of the year honoring their senior musicians. On Thursday, May 30th the Concert Orchestra and Concert Band will have their final performance of the year featuring a wide variety of music that includes songs from Guardians of the Galaxy and Lady Gaga. We hope you can join us to help celebrate the work of our Titan Musicians! All concerts are in the Thomas Auditorium starting at 7:00 PM.

Attention Freshmen
Check the Class of 2027 page to RSVP to the movie & game event on Saturday June 1st from 8pm-11pm. The cost is $5.00 for snacks/beverage or free with your paid class dues.
Be sure to stop in room 428 (Mrs. DeWitte's room) to pick up your ticket for the event. Don't miss out on the fun! Pick up your tickets between 8:15am-8:40am daily or during your lunch periods.
Business Classes Host a Market Day
Thank you to all who supported the Business Department's Entrepreneur Market Day. In particular our cafeteria staff for assisting us throughout the food preparation process, the custodians for helping set-up, clean, and breakdown the area, the teachers for allowing students to miss a class, and of course to all those who purchased products for Market Day. We are truly grateful, thank you.
Titan Ball Tournament
Join the Student Council for a school wide Titan Ball tournament on Monday June 3rd after school. Anyone interested in playing can pick up information in the main office. Teams of 10 can sign up to compete. Each team must have a minimum of 3 females and 3 males and are encouraged to include a staff member. If you are interested in participating, but do not have a full team, sign up in the main office and we’ll connect you with a team. There will be prizes for the winning team. If you have questions, email or see Ms. Warner in room 450.

Girls and Boys Track and Field
The Titans compete in the Class A Sectionals at Hilton HS
10 AM Saturday.
Boys Lacrosse
The Titans lost a heartbreaker in the Quarterfinals Tuesday evening at Irondequoit 8-9 in OT. They almost pulled off a huge upset and knocking off the #2 seeded Eagles.Jagger A had 2 goals and 1 assist.Brandon T added 2 goals. Joseph T had 1 goal. Pete S Lucas N and Nick A each had a goal. Jonah J had 2 assists. Reid D had 2 assists. In goal, Joshua J made 10 saves in 51 minutes played.
Girls Lacrosse
The Titans lost in the Quarterfinals at Victor Tuesday evening 15-8. Mia E had 2 goals. In her first game back, Addison S had 3 goals. Hannah R and Sophie S. had one goal each. Olivia B had 2 assists. Sadie E had an assist. In goal Megan S had 4 saves in 48 minutes played.
Baseball
The Titans beat Pittsford Mendon 6-2 last Saturday in the pre quarter round of Sectionals. Joe P pitched a complete game with 4 strikeouts and only allowing 4 hits. Shane T Owen Z and Parker C each had two hits, 1 run and 1 RBI. AjL Tyler E and Drew R each had one hit. Tyler E and Nate C each had an RBI. They advanced to the quarterfinals to face Greece Athena.
The Titans lost to a Tough Greece Athena team Tuesday night in the Sectional Quarterfinals 18-8. They finished the season 13-9.
Softball
Thomas Varsity softball beat Irondequoit in pre quarters last Saturday 15-1. Julia M. went 2-2 with a home run, 2 walks, 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Emily F. went 3-4 with 3 RBIs Olivia B. went 2-3 with 1 RBI and Ruby M. went 3-5 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Thomas Varsity softball defeated Brighton Tuesday night in the quarter finals by a score of 10-0. Ruby M. went 3-3 with 3 runs scored. Maddie H. went 2-3 with 3 RBI. Emily F. went 2-2 with 2 runs scored. Maddie T. went 2-4 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored.
Thomas girls softball defeated Mendon Thursday night in semi-finals in 10 innings by a score of 9-8. Maddie T. went 5-6 with 3 runs scored. Maddie H. went 3-5 with 5 RBIs. Emily F. went 4-4 Emma M. went 3-5 with 1 RBIs. Thomas faces Schroeder in the finals Saturday at 3 pm at Finger Lakes Community College.
