TCMS Represents the Netherlands at KUNA!
The Kentucky United Nations Assembly was held last week in Louisville. Ms. Graham, Mr. Porter and our Y-Club students gathered to represent the Netherlands in the global government extravaganza. Our resolution for the Netherlands was ranked highly, passed by voting committee AND signed by the secretary general! In addition, two of our security council resolutions passed! Nearly every student stood up to speak in front of the committee rooms, demonstrating public speaking skills and multiple Approaches to Learning skills!
Gavin Miles was recognized as one of the best clerks and was voted by adults and students to continue clerking through the event!
Noah Graham was recognized as one of the best chairs and was able to continue chairing in voting committee as a Vice President. He was also recognized as one of the best clerks and held the position throughout the combined committee meetings.

Congratulations to Ms. Norris and our Orchestra and Symphonic Orchestra! Both groups brought home Distinguished ratings from their KMEA Assessments last week! Both groups received a Distinguished rating overall and Distinguished from all judges!

Sixth Grade Students Inspire Curiosity!
On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, all FCPS sixth-grade students will attend a career exploration event at Alltech Arena. Introducing students to potential careers during middle school allows them time to investigate a variety of careers earlier rather than waiting until high school.
Introducing students to potential careers during middle school, rather than waiting until high school, allows them to engage in extracurricular activities that align with their aspirations and enroll in relevant classes. The intention of this event is to inspire them with the ability to make informed choices about their future.
Please check your email for a message with the subject line, "Inspire Curiosity - a 6th-grade signature event," and complete the electronic permission slip to allow your student to participate.
See last year's highlight video below for a peek of what awaits our students!
