There will be UIL rehearsals after school leading up to this year's competition! These are for Chorale only and will be held on the following dates.

March 18th 4-6pm for treble, 5-7pm for TB

March 20th 4-6pm for treble, 5-7pm for TB

March 24th 4-6pm for treble, 5-7pm for TB

March 31st 4-6pm for TB 5-7pm for treble (NOTE THE TIME DIFFERENCE)

April 7th 4-6pm for treble, 5-7pm for TB

Our Pre-UIL concert is on March 25 at 7 pm! It is only required for classes who are participating in UIL Contest. Call time is 5:45 pm, and students must wear their choir formals. Students are expected to stay for whole concert and will receive four major grades for the concert.

Please see information below about this exciting opportunity with the University of Houston School of Music, Jordan HS, Cy-Ranch HS, and Kerr HS.

Students will travel by bus to the UH campus and will ride the bus back unless parents who attend the concert wish to transport their student home. Chorale members will need to arrive at 1:00pm at TMHS and bring their formal choir uniforms. Students should bring some money for dinner, we will stop at a fast food location on the way.

The Moore's Opera House will open at 6:30pm and the concert begins at 7:00pm.

The concert will take place at the Moores Opera House (3333 Cullen Blvd.), but due to ongoing construction in front of the Moores School of Music, parking will be slightly more complex than usual.

For Spectators: Parking will be available across the street from the Opera House. A lot attendant will be on site, and event parking will be $10 per vehicle. Please follow the posted signs for updated entrance paths and doors to the Moores Opera House. Please be sure to check your maps for the best route to UH due to various construction and traffic patterns downtown.

Please know that this is not a "come-and-go" event. We have come together to honor the achievements of all the participants, and leaving after a particular choir has performed, before the concert concludes, diminishes the spirit of the evening. We appreciate your understanding and support in creating a respectful atmosphere for everyone involved. Congratulations to the TMHS Chorale for this honor and recognition!

Coffeehouse will be Friday, March 28 at 7:00pm in the TMHS Cafeteria! Tickets are $5 but TMHS Choir students will get in for free! We hope to see you at this event in a few weeks!

If you have pictures from any point this year, please submit to this Google Drive for our historians! Anyone can submit photos, but please make sure it's from a choir event.

When submitting the photos, please name the file with the name of the event the picture was taken at.

Remember that these photos will be going in our choir yearbook and the banquet slideshow.

TMHS Choir Yearbooks are available to purchase now! Our incredible officers work hard on this book for any who wish to purchase and receive at the end of this school year. Choir yearbooks feature photos from our events throughout the year and are $35. Seniors receive a book as a gift and need not purchase one! Sample yearbooks from previous years are available to look at in the choir room, and exmple photos will be added on the next newsletter.

If you are interested in being an officer for next school year, please see the below requirements. All applications and reference forms must be completed by Tuesday, April 1st at 11:59pm. Please make sure you follow all instructions. All applicants must have the application turned in, and at least one teacher and one senior reference form.

If you are interested in being a member of TMHS's Chamber Choir, The Major Chords, please see the below description and application. Applications are due by Friday, April 18th and auditions for choir for next year will be after UIL. If you are wishing to be in The Major Chords you must complete the application below as well as the Choir audition form below.

If you are staying in choir for next school year please complete the audition form below. We will use this during auditions to know what choirs you would like to be considered for in 2025-26.

Seniors who wish to apply for the TMCBC Scholarship can fill out the application below! All applications must be returned to Mr. Ragsdale or Ms. White by April 1. No digital copies are accepted, only hard copies. Please make sure you read over the entire application and follow all guidelines.

Please make sure that you are making payments for the Spring Trip if you are traveling with us! The next payment is due March 7th!

Parent chaperones can make their payments using the same link as student payments, but please indicate who the payment is for under "recipient name". For student payments, please put your student's name under "recipient name"

Please be aware that students must be academically and attendance eligible to travel on the spring trip.

All schoolcashonline payments will have an additional service charge that does not count toward the payment. For example, the initial deposit is $100, but has a $5 service charge. Also be aware that the initial deposit is non-refundable and monies paid for the rest of the trip cannot be refunded after the December 15th payment, unless you are able to sell your trip for full price.

$25.00 Donation - Booster Supporters will receive slideshow recognition at our concerts.

$50.00 Donation - Silver Supporters will receive two reserved seats to the winter concert and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

$100.00 Donation - Navy Supporters will receive four reserved seats to all concerts and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

$250.00 Donation - Wildcatter Supporters will receive four tickets to Pop Show, four reserved seats to all concerts, and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

Section of the week is back! As we approach UIL and work though our music, we will be watching for the hardest working sections in each class. Get ready for next week!
