SOUPer Bowl Food Drive
Rho Kappa is collecting SOUP cans, other non-perishable foods, cash & gifts for Leyden Township Pantry!
Food can be dropped off at Entrances 4 & 18 or room 152J anytime THIS WEEK. Cash donations & gift cards can be given to any RHO KAPPA student during Advisory or lunch...or they can be dropped off to Mrs. Ryan in 152J!
February is Black History Month
Black History Month is a time to honor the contributions of African Americans across U.S. history and society—from activists and civil rights pioneers such as Harriet Tubman, Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks to leaders in industry, politics, science, culture and more. (Source: history.com)
Many high schools & colleges have Black Student Unions. If you are interested in starting a Black Student Union at Leyden, check out THIS page which has details on how to start a new club.

So You Think You Can Dance, Leyden?!
Dancers, get on stage this spring with Leyden's own "So You Think You Can Dance?". If you are interested in being involved, you must audition first! To learn more, click HERE.
Audition Information:
- Wednesday, February 21st
- 3:10-4:45 PM in the West Leyden Dance Studio
- Students will be expected to perform an original choreography that is 30-45 seconds long. All styles of dance are welcome!
- If you are unable to attend auditions, you can email a video of your choreography to Ms. Longstreth (llongstreth@leyden212.org) by February 21st.
